C-64 Data Heaven

The ideas and products on C-64 that were never finished.

Compared to Amiga Data Heaven, our C-64 career had much less unfinished projects. Good reasons for this are for example that during the early C-64 years, demos were much smaller and easier to make, and there wasn't that kind of designing around. Of course many did big big and great demos, but we didn't.

A strange idea, this one. It was kind of drawing program, but with graphics from the game Lords of Midnight. You took different graphics, houses, monsters and so on and created fantasy pictures from them.

Dr. Dick's demo
1991: Demo from Dr.Dick. Was planned to be released at the previous (B) party at 90, but.... It's almost complete so now it should come out.
1997: Well, never came out.

Game preview:
1991: Game preview from Mr.Sex. A good game, with good coding. A half-demo as it will include some intros - seen them, real good coding.

1997: Yeah sure released my ass. Downloadable here though.
1997: Mr.Sex objects. Any interested readers should mail him to enable us put the Game Preview for public download :-)

Follow The Sign III 100%
1997: The complete and finished version of Follow The Sign III -demo, winner of Assembly'97 demo-competition. What? A complete? Yep! ASM96 FTS 3 demo is only 75%! Those missing pieces were lost when sleeping Mysdee managed to move a source-code disk near a power source radiating magical waves of energy. Much stuff had to be completely redone and for that missing 25%, no time. Guess it will never come out.

Addition from Mysdee:
"The damaged disk didn't actually destroy anything vital. We actually lost lots of ready-to-link stuff which we had to do all over again.. Only thing we lost was time and so we had to skip couple of stunning but not completely finished routines in order to make it the deadline. The source for these two amazing routines still exist, only thing missing is MrSex's inspiration and my time to use my very effective motivator-boot to kick MrSex's ass.

I cannot give any promises about FTS3 100% but I promise that once I got time (summer) I will make another trip to Tampere (MrSex's place) and we will release the routines in one form or another. In any case, the text books of c64 coding will be once again rewritten by (B)"

A strange little demo with strange purpose. There's a raster filled logo bouncing below, with a scroller in rasterfield in upper portion. Lots of greetings and stupidity. Just greetings and Powerrun bashing.
